3D Elephant Sculpt
3D Sculpt for DMD 3582
For my first time doing a full 3D sculpt in Maxon ZBrush, I wanted to sculpt an elephant as an elephant was the first 3D model I did when learning Autodesk 3ds Max. The biggest difficulty I faced with this sculpt was getting a proportionate shape on the elephant when compared to my reference images. Overall I think the proportions ended up fairly well with the exception of the trunk being too thin. When elephants have their trunks in this position, the skin folds on itself making it appear significantly smaller than expected, but in my model it appears too small. Despite this, I'm quite happy with the end result as a relatively accurate sculpt of an elephant.
